A paid sample should answer specific procurement questions before a handheld mirror moves toward production. It should not be treated as a general visual reference with important details left undecided.
This checklist is based on the confirmed inspection points for JoJoMirror handheld mirror projects: frame and handle smoothness, burrs, print clarity, and mirror breakage or scratches. Other acceptance criteria are added only when they are part of the approved project specification.

Freeze the Brief Before Judging the Sample
A sample cannot be approved reliably if the buyer is still changing the basic product route. Before inspection, record the intended structure, material, mirror, magnification, logo and packaging.
- Single-sided, double-sided, folding, self-standing or hanging structure.
- ABS, PS, zinc alloy or wood frame and handle route.
- Glass, acrylic or aluminium mirror.
- Normal view or the selected 5X, 10X, 15X or 20X option.
- Silk screen, foil stamping, debossing, full-surface printing or electroplating.
- Polybag, blister or paper-box packaging.

Four Sample Checkpoints
Checkpoint 1: Frame and Handle
Run a hand carefully around the frame, handle and edges. The confirmed inspection question is whether the surface is smooth and free from burrs.
Also compare the sample with the approved shape and proportions. For folding, standing, hanging or double-sided structures, check that the intended function can be demonstrated on the sample before defining any production acceptance criteria.
Checkpoint 2: Logo and Visible Finish
Check whether the printed result is clear. Compare spelling, orientation, position, size and visible color against the approved artwork.
Different branding routes create different visual effects, so approval should be tied to the actual selected process. Do not approve a silk-screen sample as the reference for a later foil-stamped or electroplated result.
Checkpoint 3: Mirror Condition and Viewing Result
Inspect the mirror for breakage and visible scratches. Review the edges and how the mirror sits inside the frame.

Checkpoint 4: Packaging Fit
Place the approved sample in the proposed unit packaging. Confirm that the pack fits the product and presents it as intended. Shipping-carton details and any transport-testing requirement must be defined by the project; they should not be inferred from a single unit sample.

Create a Signed Approval Record
- Photograph the mirror side, back, handle, edges, logo and packaging.
- Record the material, dimensions, mirror specification and branding route.
- List accepted visual details and unresolved corrections separately.
- Confirm which corrected sample or written update becomes the production reference.
- Keep MOQ, sampling quantity and production timing tied to the approved project.
